This is Guldmakeriet.
We are goldsmiths. Goldsmiths, that passionately work through an ancient way of turning liquid metal that solidifies into polished, shiny jewellery. Perhaps the metal once was an earlier piece of jewellery and once again can be reshaped and given new life. Diamonds and other precious stones are added. Stones that, in addition to being able to dazzle, can provide both power and strength. That's what we do.
The idea of Guldmakeriet has always been the same, to make beautiful, unique jewellery, preferably with a whimsical twist. With our own workshop connected to the showroom, we can offer exquisite craftsmanship with a high and personal level of service. That is what we're good at.
Each customer gives us their different angles, and then the jewellery often takes a completely different shape from any other piece made. But it is quite clear that, when we are done it is a piece of jewellery from Guldmakeriet.
The dragonfly was from the beginning an obvious symbol for Guldmakeriet. Goldsmith is not only a profession but also means dragonfly in Danish. In Japan, since the ancient times, the dragonfly has been an animal that represented beauty, but has also been a symbol of inner strength. That says a lot about what you can expect from Guldmakeriet.
