Diamonds are a girls best friend…
This mythical stone, a gift from mother earth as men have admired for so very long.
Diamonds are made of pure carbon, crystallized under high pressure and heat far below our feet for several million years ago. It then created the world’s hardest natural material, but despite this, one can cleave or injure a diamond.
When you first find them they’re gray and dull and mostly resemble pebbles. Through grinding and polishing we are able to discover the diamond’s brilliance that is given by nature.
The quality and thus the price is determined and based on four C, which stands for cut, color, clarity and carat.
CUT / GRINDING
The diamond’s proportions and symmetry are the factors that are most important for the stone’s brilliance. Brilliance is the play of light that occurs as a result of internal reflection in the diamond. The most common cut is called the brilliant cut with 57 facets.
The grinding is graded Very Good , Good , Medium good and Bad.
Usually there is not grinding with as a reference when you buy a diamond, it is a skill you have to trust that the vendor master and can differentiate. When purchasing a diamond from us that are over 0.30 ct, we select carefully selected stones for best grinding, so that the proportions give utmost brilliance.

It is also possible to change the color of a diamond, either in order to make a white or tinted diamond even whiter, or to give a diamond color. Diamonds can occur naturally in many colors, yellow, pink, blue, brown, green and red. These are known as fancy diamonds.

CARAT / WEIGHT
All gemstones weight are measured in carats. One carat equals 0.2 grams.
AUTHENTICITY / CERTIFICATES
It is not so simple to examine a diamond’s authenticity. Nowadays there are a large amount of imitations. There are also a lot of engineered stones, which has improved the stone’s quality. One can, for example, laser drill out any impurities and fill with synthetic pulp, which is very difficult to detect. When processing (such composure of stone) , it can get so bad that you accidentally press right on the synthetic mass which then has another density, which makes the stone look cracked out . Therefore, we will judge case by case basis if we can accommodate the customer’s stones.
All our diamonds are included in something called Kimberley process, the judgment is no conflict or blood stones.
All dealers in the ranks guarantees, the derive of the stones.
When you buy a diamond from us that is over 0.30 ct you will always receive a certificate from GIA or HRD from us. They have all the information of the stone. Often there is a number laser engraved on these stones also mentioned on the certificate, so they are not mixed.
